One of the goals of Ushas Entertainment is to produce quality television productions such as serials, tele-movies, documentaries and talk shows which will depict the unique culture of Americans of Asian origin. Ushas as an entertainment company, which acknowledges and holds great respect for our basic ancestral culture, believes that we, Asians living in America, have developed our own unique culture which is a fusion of the ancestral culture we grew up and the host culture that we live with. Our aim is to produce television programs which will showcase this unique and original culture to audience all over the world. Our first venture, the television serial 'American Dreams'  )‘American Dreams’, our first television production has received five television awards from the State of Kerala, India for the year 2003. These awards include best serial, best actor, best script and best supporting actress. Also in the year 2004, American Dreams received the Film Critics award for the second best serial.
